Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh was born 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of is a film actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with a handful of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her role as the character Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. She starred in her debut major part in Geethaanjali (2013) which was which was a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on the first of her Malayalam projects, and then began working on projects in Tamil at the same time. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film was not successful at the box-office. To accommodate larger projects, she was forced to cancel projects she'd started working on. This include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was pushed back from 2015 with reports that it would be released in September in 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. Subsequently, the premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
