Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to an incredibly musical family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of singer Dionne Warwick. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that cemented her position as one of the best-selling albums in pop music. While the movie itself and the performance of her in it were not highly appreciated, the album's soundtrack and her version of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You was the top of the charts of albums and singles for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies around the globe. Her daughter Bobbi was born in the month of March of 1993, the year after she wed Bobby Brown. Her daily consumption of the drug was well-documented.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchorwoman and reporter for the political section of CNN.
