Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. She gained fame for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading role of Jerrica Jem Benton for the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. There is a younger sister Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Her role was the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University accepted her but was able to enter twice and the third time she was accepted for the role she played in Nashville. Peeples played on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples also played a frequent role on Necessary Rustness (1991). She appeared on the television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In season two, she played Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples confessed that she had bipolar disorder while speaking in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the top actors below the age of 20 in September of 2014.
